At Monday Morning Meeting Malia received the "Living the Learner Profile" award for always showing us what being principled looks like!
Thank you to all who were able to make it to Open House! It was so nice getting to chat with all of you and for you to get to know the other families.
We have been talking more about our duties as a good citizen and why it is important in our community and how it helps our community. We are starting to see how having systems in place, like our Classroom Jobs, really help us.
We worked on spelling our names and learned that words that name people are nouns.
We introduced antonyms and talked about opposites.
In Mandarin we are learning greetings and nouns for people.
We were learning about the attributes of shapes and investigating the world around us to find them. We had fun working with a partner looking everywhere around the room and finding shapes everywhere!
We celebrated International Dot Day by reading the book and making our own dots!
